Tough, agile and good looking, the Can-AM Maverick 1000 X mr is a pretty impressive machine that was built to deal effortless with everything you ask of it.
Its center piece is represented by a 976 cc, V-Twin, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 8-Valve (4-Valve / Cyl) engine which is linked to a CVT transmission with high, low, park, neutral & reverse modes.
Once in boar you are met by premium seats with a full backrest, lumbar and shoulder support, and side bolsters. For enhanced comfort you also get tilt steering and an adjustable driver's seat. The instrument panel includes an analog tachometer and speedometer and a digital information center.
At the rear of the Maverick you'll find a high-strength, multipurpose rack which works with the LinQ quick-attach accessory system.

Meet the new standard for side-by-side mud riding. Powered by a 101-hp Rotax 976 cc V-Twin engine, this vehicle can get down and dirty all-day long.
Most Powerful
The 976cc, 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin engine is Can-Am's most powerful side-by-side engine. This liquid-cooled, single-overhead-cam power plant features four valves per cylinder and is fed by a 54mm Bosch8 throttle body and two sophisticated VDO Siemens8 fuel injectors.
Better Throttle Control
This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 54mm Bosch8 throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode.
More Power
When an engine breathes easier, it can produce more horsepower. So Can-Am optimized air intake, combustion, and exhaust flow. Larger intake plenum, high-flow heads, larger valves, increased compression ratio, and high-flow dual exhaust all contribute to this more powerful and efficient engine.
Increased Durability
The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system showcases a Zylon-reinforced belt, a material with 1.6x higher tensile strength and increased belt rigidity in compression compared to a regular belt, keeping it cooler. A redesigned drive pulley with increased diameter for extra durability.
Strong Power Output
This package provides a more powerful magneto with 625 W of power output.
Designed For Mudding
The engine's air intake, CVT inlets and CVT exhaust have been positioned as high as possible in the Maverick 1000 X mr to improve breathing while navigating wet and muddy conditions. The three-piece system is located high on the dash and behind the driver and passenger for added convenience.

Innovative Rear Suspension
The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension, for no-bump steer and the lowest scrub for optimized bump absorption and tire-to-ground contact. Features a lower unsprung weight and 14 in of travel.
Industry Exclusive
Industry exclusive, air-controlled suspension that features an onboard compressor to allow the front and rear high-pressure gas FOX Air Assist Piggyback shocks to be adjusted on the fly. Choose between 6 preload levels. Also includes an auxiliary hose to inflate tires
Steering Assistance
The electronically controlled power steering provides the driver with three different levels of assistance when steering. The amount of assistance varies with the vehicle's speed to adjust the steering input effort to a comfortable level. Features Visco-Lok QE for a faster engagement point.
Better Control
All DPS-equipped models have Visco-Lok† QE, which has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok† differential, but with an even quicker engagement point. This differential, unlike some competitors' differentials, does not have a speed limiter.
Performance Mud Tires and Wheels
Designed by Gorilla Axle for mud riding and racing, these tires were developed to go in the deepest mud holes. Installed on large 14-in ITP SS312 cast-aluminum wheels to give an aggressive look.
Cleared For Adventure
Roots, rocks and other rough terrain are no threat to the underbelly thanks to 13-in. (33 cm) of ground clearance.

Easy On, Easy Off
The high-strength, multipurpose rear rack works with the LinQ quick-attach accessory system, letting you easily install or remove a storage box, rack extension, bags, or other items. Numerous edges and holes improve use with tie-downs and bungee cords. Rack capacity of 200 lb.
Standard Anti-Theft System
D.E.S.S. is the industry's first standard anti-theft device. Electronic code in key must match code in ECU to start. The Maverick 1000R family comes with two different keys. One limits top speed to 44 mph, while the other has no limitations.
