2015 Can-Am Maverick X mr 1000R
Can-Am recently released the first wave of information on the 2015 Side by Side lineup. While many of the specs remain the same for this release, there are some cool new colors which will soon be available and a couple of new entry level models. And don't give up yet, we expect that during the annual dealer show (to be held later this year) that a new premium powerplant will be released. BRP anxiously wants to reclaim the title of horsepower king from Polaris (currently 107HP on the RZRXP1K), so expect to see something in the range of 115HP.
For now, let's check out the 2015 Maverick X mr. Originally released as a limited production model for 2014, it's success guaranteed its inclusion in the 2015 lineup. Along with the standard X package yellow and black color scheme, the X mr will also be available in an all new digital camo & manta green color scheme. This one is sure to stand out in the crowd.
Maverick X mr 1000 key features
- Fox Podium X Performance RC 2.5 HPG piggyback shocks (front and rear)
- SS312 rims with 30″ Silverbacks
- A 4500lb Warn winch
- Factory snorkels for the engine and CVT intakes and outlets
- 101 HP 976cc fuel-injected V-twin engine
- A new for 2015 extra low drive ratio for the L gear
If you like to get muddy then the X mr is great out of the crate. And for those of you who want to customize your ride, this is the perfect platform.
The 2015 Maverick X mr will be available in July (black and yellow) and September (digital camo with manta green).
